Here a couple of quick CSU related sports news for all of you.

CSU Womens volleyball moved to 22nd in the rankings and are heading off to Gainesville, Florida for the first and hopefully second rounds of the NCAA Tourney. Nick and Lance will be broadcasting the games live right here on KCSU.

CSU Linebacker, Mychal Sysson, was given the Dashie Award for Freshman of the Year in the Mountain West Conference (The Dashies are a fictional award given out by sports writer, Pat Ford of ESPN).

The Rammies men’s Basketball team is taking on The Nevada Wolfpack tonight in Moby Arena. The Wolfpack have appeared in the NCAA tournament 4 times in the last 5 seasons. Their latest apearance in the big dance according to CSURAMS.COM was in 20007 (That’s no typo on my end, apparently the NCAA Tourney will be rolling strong for another 18000 years).

And unfortunately there will be no Ramblers tonight. Nick, Lance, Ryan, and Connor will all be stuffing there faces at the KCSU staff appreciation dinner.
