Well, Spring of 2009 is finally upon us which means a brand new KCSU line-up as well as brand new music that is bigger and better than what you have on your iPod now. Click on schedule in the nav bar to see the Spring 09 DJ line-up.
Starting off this years new line-up is our spanking new primetime DJ’s. This semester we are proud to introduce DJ Tara, and Lifeguard Wray. Each brings their own crazy banter and music tastes to schedule.
Who needs coffee when you can wake up with Dr. Bok every Monday, Wednesday and Friday and Ms. Sarah on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7-10AM
Rounding out our primetime schedule from 4-7 PM, you love him you adore him, Wedge on Wednesdays and Fridays. Of course on Tuesdays and Thursdays you are going to be wooed and fall in love with KCSU’s sexiest DJ, the LaTn LuVr Jaime.
KCSU is also boasting tons of new specialty shows including Better Than Zach Braff where DJ Webster proves that just because you can write a super cool indie movie starring Natalie Portman, your not THAT cool. Also, who said Radio Mysteries are dead? Apparently no one because Macondo and Moses are doing their own Magical Mystery Show presenting “Moses and Macondo and the search for Penley’s Gold!” We also have your favorite shows the Loco Local, Woody’s Jazz Sesh and the delightful Ms. Peach returning for another semester.
Who can forget, KCSU’s very own sports experts, the Ramblers are coming back in full force wisecracking anything that relates to sports.
KCSU is bringing down the house this year with NEW releases from Animal Collective, Matt and Kim, Loney Dear, M. Ward, Dan Deacon and so much more. Also, KCSU has tickets and give-aways galore so listen often to have a chance at winning some of the sweetest tickets this year.
