As you may have heard by now, Rich Bircumshaw the voice of the CSU Rams passed away last night after suffering a stroke yesterday. We at KCSU, especially the Sports Department are deeply saddened upon hearing the news. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Bircumshaw family. And as Rich always said, “Go Rams!”

Mtn West Commisioner Craig Thompson is off to Washington D.C. to lobby for changes to the BCS system. Today he met with several members of the House of Representitives and other government officials to address what he thinks are flaws in the current BCS system. It was announced earlier this afternoon that CSU Volleyball Coach Tom Hilbert will be staying with the Rams. Hilbert was named as a candidate for the CU head coaching job on Friday.
